BHATE EQUESTRIAN CENTER, WAGHOLI
The Bhate Equestrian Center is envisioned as a holistic recreational and training environment that integrates sport, leisure and landscape within a cohesive architectural framework. The design emphasizes openness, movement, and visual connectivity creating a dynamic setting that responds to the experiential qualities of equestrian activities while maintaining harmony with its natural surroundings.
Masterplan
The campus features dedicated dressage and jumping arenas, stables, cottages and viewing stands for visitors along with a temple for the neighbouring community. The project emphasizes the use of precast modular elements, such as custom designed curb modules along the cross-country tracks. The landscape focuses on creating a rich experiential journey, a vibrant and inviting entrance that leads towards the central open space: the “breathing lungs” of the site.
